Radiance Enters the Battleground of the Gods

Radiance will be entering the battleground of the Gods, signing a professional SMITE team for the upcoming 7th season of SMITE Pro League!

Please welcome players Kennet “Adapting” Ros, Maxwell “Aror” Jackson, Jordan “BigManTingz” Theaker, Ben “Benji” McKinzey, and Jarod “Cyclonespin” Nguyen, with coach Kurtis “Biggy” Davidson!

Ben “Benji” McKinzey

Benji is the solo laner of the team. Rumor has it that Benji’s keyboard is made up of one thing and one thing only: the W key. With skills honed over the years that have culminated in a championship title for himself, his aggression is unrivaled and his pressure unrelenting. Anticipate Benji to be the big kid on the block as always.

Kennet “Adapting” Ros

Adapting is the jungler for the team. You may know him as “King Kennet,” “Adaptking,” or even “GOAT.” They all fit, belonging to one of the best players this game has ever seen. As cerebral as he is deadly, Adapting stands as one of the most accomplished players in the league. A two-time world champion (winning season 2 and 3), he looks to push past already historic heights set by himself and capture his third title under Radiance’s banner.

Jordan “BigManTingz” Theaker

BigManTingz is the mid laner for the team. In the past, he has played support for 2 years and brief moments as a jungler and ADC as well. They say variety is the spice of life and BMT indulges unlike any other. With a god pool as eclectic as they come, he brings a unique dynamic to the team.

Jarod “Cyclonespin” Nguyen

Cyclonespin is the ADC of the team, but has played all of the other roles at least once. As a veteran of the game, he boasts a championship title and repertoire not many can match. He brings a level of consistency that serves as a backbone for any team he’s on. Any platform, any meta, Cyclonespin will perform.

Maxwell “Aror” Jackson

Aror is the support and team captain of the team. With a world championship title under his belt, Aror is as accomplished as he is seasoned. He knows what it’s like to be at the top and the bottom of the barrel. This experience makes him uniquely equipped to lead the team. On the map, he plays like a bull seeing red. But in comms, he’s like the composer of a wonderful symphony. Opponents better be on the lookout for the chunk!

I know we’re all glad we can represent an organization like Radiance. They made the whole process really easy from start to finish. Hopefully we can represent them well and win them a world championship.

Kurtis “Biggy” Davidson

Biggy‘s competitive career began as a player, but now he lends his mind as a coach for the team. With his intimate understanding of the game, he is able to gift that comprehension to his players. He’s seen successes with many teams but now he looks to reach the top and bring home a world championship title.

I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity Radiance have given us to work with them, especially under the circumstances and short notice we were both given. With SPL starting this weekend, it’s nice to know we have their full backing and my boys can focus purely on the game itself. They have already taken such great care of us and I’m confident they will be a good addition to the SPL as both individuals and a brand. I hope every fan of ours welcomes and supports them!

Smite Pro League

Starting this weekend, our SMITE team will be competing against 7 other teams – such as Renegades, Spacestation Gaming, and EUnited – in a franchised league. Check out this link for the Phase 1 schedule! They will compete from April to June every weekend starting at 12 PM PT! More details about the SPL can be found here!

I’m pretty excited to be working with this team!

They’ve shown to be professional, friendly and they are all world champion class players.

Let’s cheer for them as they chase down another World Championship!
